What is ISO 9001:2000

ISO 9001:2000 is a comprehensive, internationally recognised code covering all aspects of quality management in the design, engineering and manufacturing of a product. The process based approach and the required continuous improvement put the emphasis on actions to continuously increase the customer satisfaction. The standard requires an approach which incorporates a documented system of policies, procedures and instructions to guide the process of meeting customers requirements. Training needs are regularly reviewed and training is provided when needed for all employees. Frequent internal audits and regular rigorous audits by an ISO - accredited Registrar ensure full and continuing compliance.

All BAC manufacturing facilities in Europe produce equipment in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 97/23/EC. This European Directive harmonises construction standards across all European Community countries.
